The Foundation Team traveled to Tallahassee to meet with legislators and receive a $110,948.24 check from the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations (CFEF) through their School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program.

The money will be used to support a number of different education initiatives in Seminole County Public Schools including: Grants for Great Ideas, Tools 4 Seminole Schools, Take Stock in Children, the new Mechanics Physics Bus, the Aviation Academy, and the beloved MudWalk.

David Smith and Representative Joy Goff-Marcil, for their continued support of the state matching funds that provide support for student in need within our school district and throughout the state.
