Thank you to Universal Orlando Foundation for investing in the professional development of teachers in Seminole County Public Schools!

Their $21,900 grant to The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools supported The Foundation’s Reflective Teacher Leader series. Teachers of the Year were invited to a three part series focused on helping teachers improve interpersonal relationships in the classroom and school community.

The purpose of the series was to invest in developing and preparing educators, including top performing educators with the necessary skills to lead their schools by offering targeted professional development opportunities focused on classroom culture and leadership. After the first session a teacher shared, “In so many ways, I have become more conscious of my bias.”

Another teacher stated, “Thank you for creating the space for us to have the opportunity to experience what we did tonight!”
