Due to a two-year grant from the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations (CFEF), we recently received $25,000 for Seminole High School’s Academy of Health Careers. This financial support, now concluding its second year, has been the cornerstone of revitalizing this magnet program.
The grant from CFEF has been instrumental in fortifying the educational pathway for budding healthcare professionals. From Health Technicians to Licensed Practical & Vocational Nurses, and Medical & Clinical Laboratory Technicians, the Academy is emerging as a dynamic hub for comprehensive healthcare training.
The infusion of funds has facilitated the integration of industry-standard equipment, ensuring students receive high-quality instruction and authentic hands-on experience. The Academy is evolving into an environment that not only nurtures academic growth but also provides practical skills essential for success in the healthcare field.
As we celebrate the successful completion of the second year of this impactful grant, we reflect on the significant progress and positive outcomes achieved. The ripple effect of CFEF’s support extends far beyond the Academy’s walls, graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills fostered by the program are contributing to the enhancement of healthcare services within the local community.
As we look towards the future, we are confident that the positive influence of this program will continue to shape the landscape of healthcare professionals in our community. Thank you CFEF!
