United Way of Central Florida’s generous $40,000 grant empowers Foundation initiatives. This significant contribution is set to make a meaningful impact on several Foundation programs, highlighting the importance of collaboration and community support.

One of our Foundation programs that this grant will support is Take Stock in Children.

  • Take Stock In Children – Seminole: This program empowers and mentors the youth, providing them with the tools and guidance needed to navigate the path to higher education and future success. Take Stock in Children offers deserving, low-income students a chance to escape the cycle of poverty through education. We offer our students college scholarships, caring volunteer mentors and hope for a better life. Students are selected in 8th grade and receive comprehensive services throughout high school and as they transition to college with a 2-year Florida Prepaid Scholarship.

Our deepest gratitude goes to United Way of Central Florida for their unwavering support.  Their support extends beyond financial contributions, encompassing a shared vision of creating a better, more equitable future for all. Together, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families throughout Seminole County.
