This school year has been one of the most unique and challenging years we have had yet. Thanks to donors like you, The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools is able to be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of students and teachers. We kicked off the school year with the distribution of 4,500 new backpacks filled with supplies to students on the Free & Reduced Lunch Program. This ensured all students, regardless of income, have the supplies needed to be ready to learn. When over 50% of SCPS students chose remote learning options, community donations helped close the technology gap by providing over 150 internet hot spots and laptops to these students.

In addition to serving SCPS students, each spring, we provide recognition and support for outstanding teachers and support staff through appreciation events. This year, it’s even more important we thank teachers and school staff for their work in a year like no other.
