Thank you to Darvin & Chris Boothe for their recent $28,000 donation to The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools! Their donation established The Boothe “Meet the Challenge” Scholarship. This endowed scholarship through The Foundation will provide a $1,000 college scholarship annually for a senior from Lake Brantley High School who has overcome challenges.
“Being the first in my family to graduate from high school, I know the transformational power of education,” stated Darvin Boothe, retired Lake Brantley High School Principal from 1977 – 2006. “We established the Boothe Family ‘Meet the Challenge’ Scholarship to recognize Lake Brantley High School students who overcome obstacles and to encourage them to continue to transform their lives through education.”
