Join us on February 14th to learn more about the Take Stock in Children – Seminole program. At this information session, program overviews will be held each half hour at approximately 5:45 PM, 6:15 PM and 6:45 PM. Students and their parent/guardian will gain a better understand of the program, participation guidelines, performance expectations and have an opportunity to ask questions. Applications will be available.

Registration is not required for this Open House.

Brief Overview of Take Stock in Children – Seminole

Eighth grade students who qualify for free/reduced lunch and have a 2.5 GPA or better are invited to apply to be a TSIC scholar. While this is a competitive program and application process, the TSIC program offers students a life changing opportunity and the means to reverse the cycle of poverty.

Students are selected in 8th grade and will be guided through this program throughout high school with the help of their mentor. After satisfactory completion, students will transition to college with a 2-year Florida Prepaid College Scholarship.
